Information Collected by Scroo-G

Scroo-G collects only the data necessary to provide Users with services and protect them under certain circumstances. This list may include, among other things, the following information:

  • Public cryptocurrency wallet address that the User links to log into the account and perform various operations within the Scroo-G Web3 App. The mnemonic (secret) phrase and private key of this wallet are not accessible to us (i.e., they are not included in the information we collect) – the mnemonic phrase/private key is solely in the possession of the User, and they must take necessary security measures to prevent these from falling into the hands of third parties.
  • User’s email address, including the name and other data provided. This information may be collected if the User subscribes to our email newsletter (if available) and when contacting our user support via email.
  • User's social media and messenger account IDs. For example, data from the Telegram messenger becomes available to us when you start playing in the Scroo-G Telegram Mini App. Data from other social networks becomes available to us when you subscribe to our social media accounts and channels or contact our support team via social media. In such cases, we see all the data that the User has made publicly visible on social media, as well as all the data that the User has provided us during correspondence to resolve any issues. Such data may include: User's full name, nationality, gender, date of birth, age, signature, phone number, residence address, utility bills, passport data, driver's license, national ID card, photo ID, tax identification numbers, trade data, payment/credit card numbers, bank account details, financial transactions, job title, office location, health information, religious views or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, criminal record information, and more.
  • Data on transactions performed by the User on the Scroo-G platform. Collecting such data helps detect and promptly stop any suspicious activities that could lead to fraud and/or asset loss. Additionally, it enhances security, helps combat spam and malware, and identifies and neutralizes bot programs. As DeFi and GameFi constantly evolve, it is important for us to be prepared for new potential risks and effectively counteract them. Without this data, it is quite challenging to ensure User security while using our services. It also helps to provide Users with accurate statistics on their activities.

Log Data

Like most internet resources, we collect data that the User’s browser/device automatically sends to us each time he visits Scroo-G. This information may be referred to as "Log Data" and may include: the User's device IP address (with the last byte altered), browser name and version, visited pages, date, time, and duration of activity, and other statistical information.

Scroo-G processes this information to study and analyze each User’s behavioral model and form a clear impression of User’s visits to our resources (including Scroo-G Web3 App and Telegram Mini App). Such actions help us optimize our resources and services for your convenience.

Cookies and Their Use

Cookies are used to identify Users and may be utilized each time they log into our resources (including Scroo-G Web3 App and Telegram Mini App) and to save the personal settings they have configured for their convenience when using Scroo-G. Cookies are sent to the User's browser/device, and their browser/device stores these files on the hard drive. The data set contained in cookies is determined by the server and may be used by that server each time the User visits Scroo-G.

Most web browsers/devices automatically accept cookies, but the User can set their browser/device to refuse these files at any time. However, please note that such refusal may affect the User's ability to fully access the functionality of Scroo-G. Use of Google Analytics and Other Analytics and Statistics Services

Google Analytics is an analytics service provided by Google to create detailed traffic statistics and analyze user behavior on the web resource, among other things. Google Analytics uses its own cookies, which are not related to the cookies we use.

Statistics is collected on Google's server, and Scroo-G only places special code on its web resource pages. Therefore, we do not have direct access to Google Analytics data – we only receive the information that the service transmits to us. Scroo-G may share data received from Google Analytics with its partners, and this data does not contain any personal User information.

Each Scroo-G User can independently disable data collection via Google Analytics by activating the special Google Analytics opt-out application (download link). This disabling will not affect real use of Scroo-G in any way. Additionally, Users can enable the "Do Not Track" feature (or some other) directly in their browser to disconnect from trackers.

Beyond Google Analytics, Scroo-G may use similar web analytics tools in the future. 

Scroo-G also uses other tools to track platform statistics, which are provided by the Telegram messenger (statistics in Telegram channels, chats, bots, including the Scroo-G Telegram Mini App, can be tracked using official analytics tools) and official social media platforms that operate similarly. 

Who We May Share Your Data With

We may use or disclose User information to the following entities in specific cases and situations:

  • Our employees and partners (individuals, legal entities, and organizations) who interact with us in the provision of services to Users, including those related to Blockchain and Telegram, as well as to address User inquiries sent to our support service.
  • Legislative, executive, judicial, and other authorized government bodies and their representatives upon their official request, order, or prescription in the context of laws we must comply with.
  • Law enforcement officers, including cyber police, in situations where we have reasonable grounds to suspect that the User is directly or indirectly involved in cybercrime.

We provide our services to EU citizens as well, thus complying with GDPR requirements. We adhere to this regulation concerning personal data that can directly or indirectly identify a User. In addition, each Scroo-G employee, contractor, and partner agrees to confidentiality to ensure the protection of any personal and other data of our Users.

Methods of Storing and Protecting User Personal Data

Scroo-G may store User personal data at its facilities or with service providers located in various countries.

Scroo-G fully recognizes the importance of User privacy. To ensure proper protection of User data from any attempts of unauthorized access, tampering, disclosure, or destruction, we use modern and highly effective security measures, including:

  • Data encryption using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol – one of today's most advanced solutions.
  • IT security measures, including database password protection, site monitoring, firewalls, and other mechanisms.

However, it is important to note that no matter how effective the mechanisms we use, the protection of personal data cannot be considered 100% guaranteed if the User connects to the internet, uses wireless connections, email, smartphones, or SMS among other things, including force majeure circumstances, hacker attacks, etc. Furthermore, in such cases, we do not have the ability to protect User data after it is sent through the aforementioned means and before we receive it. We cannot guarantee the complete security of User personal data and remind you that you must take maximum responsibility for the security of your personal data and independently ensure its protection from unauthorized use by third parties. User Rights: Access to Personal Data, Making Changes, Deletion, or Restriction of Processing

  • The User has the right to review, correct, or modify their personal data or delete it in case of errors or inaccuracies (in such cases, the data must be replaced).
  • The User has the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data, but in doing so, they will lose the ability to use Scroo-G.
  • The User has the right to request a copy of their personal data that we store. This data will be provided without undue delay for a certain fee associated with the collection of information (in accordance with the law), as long as such provision does not infringe on the rights and freedoms of others.
  • The User has the right to request us to update any personal data they consider inaccurate or incorrect, in case they can verify the accuracy of the new data they provide.
  • The User has the right to request the deletion of their personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed, and if such deletion does not conflict with applicable laws and the provisions of this Privacy Policy. However, depending on the nature of the data being deleted, in certain cases, the User may not be able to use Scroo-G.

User Rights: Restriction or Continuation of Personal Data Processing

The User has the right to restrict or object to the processing of their personal data under the following circumstances:

  • The User believes their personal data is being processed unlawfully. In such a situation, we will limit processing for the time necessary for the User to substantiate their position legally. During this period, we may suspend the User's access to Scroo-G.
  • The User claims that their personal data processed by us is inaccurate. In such a situation, we will also limit processing for the time necessary for us to verify the accuracy of the User's personal data and for the User to provide accurate information. During this period, we may also suspend the User's access to Scroo-G.
  • The User may request us to continue processing their personal data. Such a situation may arise if we no longer need the User's personal data for processing purposes, but the User needs it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

IN THE EVENT OF SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF USER ACCESS TO SCROO-G, WE WILL RETAIN THEIR PERSONAL DATA IN OUR DATABASE FOR AT LEAST SEVEN YEARS.

THIS RETENTION IS NECESSARY TO PREVENT INDIVIDUALS ATTEMPTING TO AVOID PUNISHMENT FOR ILLEGAL ACTIONS, SUCH AS FRAUD, FROM DELETING THEIR ACCOUNT FROM SCROO-G. HOWEVER, IF THE USER DELETES THEIR ACCOUNT FROM SCROO-G BUT IS NOT A VIOLATOR, THEIR PERSONAL DATA WILL NOT BE USED BY US FOR ANY PURPOSES, INCLUDING DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES.
